Privacy policy

DP Home Improvement is a roofing and exterior cleaning business run by Dean, based in Derby and working across Derby and the surrounding Derbyshire towns. You can reach us on 07482 087487.

When you send a quote request we collect your name, phone number, postcode, the service you need and your description of the job. You can also give us an email address, tell us how you would prefer to be contacted, and upload photos of the job. We do not collect anything else, and we do not ask for payment details through this website.

We use your details to reply to your enquiry, understand the job, give you a price and carry out the work if you go ahead. This is done on the basis of taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.

If you tick the optional marketing box, we may also send you occasional offers and updates. You can ask us to stop at any time and we will.

Your enquiry is sent into our customer management system (GoHighLevel) so Dean can follow it up, and the website itself is hosted by our website provider. Any photos you upload are stored privately and shared only through a private link included with your enquiry. We do not sell your details or share them with anyone else, unless we are legally required to.

Enquiries that do not turn into work are kept for up to two years so we can pick up the conversation if you come back to us. Records relating to completed work are kept for up to six years to meet our legal and tax obligations.

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we use it. Just call or message Dean on 07482 087487 and we will sort it out. If you are not happy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
